Hotel Segle XX

We asked ahead for a vegan breakfast and were glad the hotel could accommodate it without any fuss. There was plant-based yogurt and spread, fresh fruit, and a range of cereals. The coffee was flavorful and robust, a great start to the day. Hotel Segle XX also has a welcoming staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, and a lot of historical charm dating back to 1880. They pay attention to guest requests, so I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

UPDATE: I spoke to reception and they corrected the room mix-up. The replacement room is large and looks very pretty, so thanks for sorting it out. We paid 88 euros for a junior suite, and the room we were first given was small, very old, and didn't look well maintained. It definitely didn't feel worth the price.

The hotel has a faded glory that gives it character. You can sense the energy it must once have had, and the family-run feel comes through in all the details. The pool and terrace are beautiful, though a bit of paint and some renovation here and there would help. Still, it was a really comfortable, enjoyable stay. The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the clean rooms have very comfortable beds. We stayed two nights, slept like rocks both times, and had dinner on the second night. The Catalan dishes were beautiful.

After a long day's riding, this was a great place to come back to. The pool is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the parking is secure, especially for motos. Everything was sparkling clean after a fresh refurbishment. The reception is the one area that still needs attention, but the helpful, efficient staff made the stay a pleasure.
