Casa Rural Curavacas

The porch swing at sunset was my favorite part of the house. We had a fantastic weekend there with four adults and three children, and the place had plenty of room for everyone, with large shared areas and everything a big group needs. Heladio, the owner, showed us around and shared some information about the house. There are loads of hiking paths beneath Curavacas peak. We took one toward the peak and reached the springs, a roughly 10 km round trip that was a bit much for the children, aged six to eleven. The hilltop views are amazing, and the whole area is wonderfully quiet. No phone signal, no noise, just birds and the river. A great place to disconnect.

A really comfortable, lovely house with everything you need. The service was excellent, and there are plenty of hikes and mountaineering outings in the natural surroundings. I imagine it must look beautiful in autumn. I’d definitely encourage a stay here.

The stars at night and the bright mornings made the remote setting feel special. It was easy to feel at home in this lovely two-story house, and having Wi-Fi and data access out there was a real bonus. I loved the place.

A great spot for a hiking break or simply getting away. The location is spectacular, with countless trails nearby. The apartments are simple but comfortable, spotless, and have a well-equipped kitchen.
