El Hospedaje Del Rey

I had a very unpleasant experience. The staff were polite, but finding a cockroach nest in the bed was unacceptable and seriously shook my confidence in the place's cleanliness. I hope they take serious steps to improve their hygiene, which matters for any accommodation. This is the version I have to give through chat so they'll let me publish the review. The actual situation was quite different.

The location couldn't be better for visiting Trujillo's old town. My family and I stayed during Holy Week and felt more than comfortable. I've never stayed somewhere so clean, new, and well looked after, with touches you don't usually find in an apartment. The person who welcomed us was exceptionally helpful. I can only recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you.

The breakfast touches were fantastic, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. These new apartments are clean and well maintained, just five minutes from Trujillo's Plaza Mayor. The owners were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the price was reasonable. A magnificent place to relax in this historic town. When we come back to Trujillo, we'll definitely stay here again.

We had everything we needed at Hospedaje del Rey, and the place was quiet and well connected. It was super clean, new, and exquisitely decorated, and we felt at home during our few days there. One small drawback: loading luggage is a bit chaotic since it's on the main road. I'd definitely stay again.
