We stayed for two days while on a cycling tour. The building used to be a convent, then fell into ruin, and has now been turned into an amazing hotel. Friendly staff, good food, and great rooms.

We came across this place at lunchtime while getting away from the Friday crowds in the plaza. The menu del día was nice: delicious paella and tasty, nicely presented gazpacho. I did miss having vegetables with the roast chicken, though. The chocolate mousse was excellent. What a beautiful town, and thanks for the Aire.

Tourists don't seem welcome here. The service was horrible, and when you ask a question about the food, they take offense easily. They expect foreigners to know their culture and have a bad attitude.

Julio, the owner, is an Atlético Madrid fanatic! The restaurant and accommodation are friendly, and just a five-minute walk from the center of Trujillo.
