The food was nicely presented and tasted good, and the staff were very friendly. We found this was one of the few places open on a Monday. But it felt like we were taken advantage of because we didn’t speak much Spanish. Our group of three ordered starters and mains, then the waiter brought three portions of each starter. One starter was also changed to a main course portion costing over three times as much. So we ended up with six starters as well as one main, followed by three main courses. Ridiculous.

We left on cloud nine. I’m French and really picky about meal quality, so I was glad that the food lived up to it. We all chose different dishes and shared, and everything tasted great, with excellent preparation and fresh ingredients. The portions aren’t very big, though, so this probably isn’t the place if you’re mainly after quantity. The service was just as good. We called before opening to book, and they said that was fine. We arrived a little early by Spanish meal-time standards and told them we didn’t have much time, but they still welcomed us. The waiter was so friendly and enthusiastic about chatting and making recommendations, and he was smiling the whole time. Such a wonderful experience.
