The complex was very clean and tidy, with friendly staff, and the food was good, though I think it would get monotonous after more than a week. One downside was that someone took my wife's Sketchers flip-flops while we were in the jacuzzi. The other bad experience was the shop on site. I went to the ATM at reception for cash and got a €50 note, but the shop wouldn't take it for a small item, so I had to use my card. The next day I had a €20 and a €5 after buying a T-shirt at another shop in the complex. On my last day, I went back to the first shop for water for the journey home and to get change so I could leave the maid a €10 tip. They wouldn't take my €20 for the water, perhaps because she didn't have change. I paid with the €5, and when the till opened I saw she had plenty of €10 notes. I asked if she could swap my €20 for two €10 notes and explained I wanted to tip the maid, but she flatly refused and acted as if I was trying to rob the place. Her attitude stunk. Avoid that shop, they don't deserve the business.

We looked into the area before booking and knew it was quiet, which suited us. The hotel had everything we wanted: nice surroundings, hot tubs, no rush for sun loungers, amazing food, a great drink selection and attentive staff. There were no kids around, which felt like heaven, even though we have kids. A 10/10 stay, and we'll book again.

The town was very quiet, so next time we'll definitely hire a car to get around. We really enjoyed our stay, and both the hotel and its staff were excellent.

We went for a girls' trip at the beginning of April and had a great, quiet break. The hotel and staff were great, and if you're all-inclusive, the main hotel is just a five to six minute walk away. There isn't much to do nearby, just a small pier and some hills to climb. The black-sand beach was really pretty, and although the sea was choppy when we were there, the coastline made for a lovely walk. There are nearby towns to visit as well as the national park. Highly recommend it for a getaway!

The food was fabulous, except for the desserts. They all seemed to be brought in and had a strange aftertaste, so we skipped them. The pools were very cold and not heated. It's a beautiful, quiet place to relax, and there's a bus stop nearby that makes it easy to explore. The all-inclusive drinks stopped at 11 even though the bar stayed open until 1:30am, which was miserable. The staff were absolutely amazing, and never minded when we asked for an extra chair or sunbed.
