We arrived quite late at night, and the owner was really kind to us. We spent a weekend there and found everything clean, cozy, comfortable, and central. Everything was just right.

Being above the Water Synagogue gives the apartment a lovely sense of history. I also liked how cozy it felt, how close it was to everything, and the amenities. I’ll definitely come back.

The room felt cramped, and setting up the sofa bed meant shifting the table and chairs around. A modern TV with streaming access would be easy to add; there were only the usual radio and TV channels. We expected more from these apartments during our visit to Úbeda. Getting there by car was another problem. Parking is extremely difficult, possibly impossible nearby, and the nearest option we found was over a 15-minute walk away. That wasn’t mentioned. Carrying luggage over cobblestones is uncomfortable, especially for someone elderly or, like me, recovering from back surgery. On the plus side, Úbeda’s sights are close. The viewpoint and its many restaurants are about a five-minute walk, and there are plenty of other monuments nearby.

The best part is the central location, right above the Water Synagogue. For 6 euros, I’d highly recommend it. The apartment is sloped and has a skylight, but no windows to look out of, not even onto the neighbor’s wall. The hot water had almost no pressure, the sink had no water at all, and the shower was terrible.
