The area is so beautiful. The hotel itself isn't anything special, though it was still nice.

The receptionist welcomed us warmly and gave us useful tips for finding our way around Ubéda. It's a lovely hotel that makes you feel at home right away, with a nice room and a great location. Restaurants, bars, and sights are all very close, and there's free parking in the neighborhood.

Only the breakfast was good, and it was charged separately. If we'd known, we might have tried somewhere else in this utterly charming little town. We chose this place for the pool and parking, which is a shame because I'm sure there are much better options. The room features were low to the ground. I asked for a fridge and was ignored. There was no iron, and the corridor lights had to be switched on manually as you walked by. Nobody told us, so we handled our luggage in the dark.

The advertised bar wasn't open, and there was no safe or mini bar in the room. The king-sized bed turned out to be two singles. They need to improve a bit. I don't like leaving passports and valuables in the room.

It's a charming, quaint hotel in a great spot and at a good price. I'd stay again.
