Our pitch was number 54, with a great view. We only stayed one night, but seeing that incredible sunset stretch on for an hour made the drive up into the mountains completely worth it. I've never seen a sunset like it.

The reception man was so friendly and helpful. We spent one night here in our van, and the campsite was peaceful, with beautiful scenery all around.

The staff were friendly and helpful, with a laid-back but attentive manner, and the couple running the restaurant were lovely too. We had meant to stay somewhere else, but spotted this place and were so glad we stopped. The views across the valley are fantastic, with miles of paths through nut orchards and vineyards. There’s a lovely pool, good facilities, and the price was really good. A nice little village is about a ten-minute walk away, with local produce that isn’t cheap but is top quality.

After two months touring France and Spain, this is the best campsite I’ve found. If you can get a pitch at the bottom, looking out over the “valley of silence,” it feels like heaven. The site is spotless and clearly cared for, with outstanding facilities. The pool is well maintained, and the bar and restaurant have lovely, attentive staff. The gentleman at reception is extremely helpful, and English is spoken if you need it. There’s a picture-perfect traditional Catalan village just a short walk away. Do yourself a favour and look no further. If I could buy shares in this place and float it on the New York stock exchange, I’d be a very wealthy man, though still not as happy as I was while I was there. Wonderful.

It was extremely peaceful while I was there, much quieter than other campsites I’ve stayed at. You mostly hear birds and crickets, since hardly any cars go around. The mountain views are lovely, the pitches are big, and the facilities are clean. There’s also an automatic washing machine, a pool and a restaurant. I’d highly recommend the place. Bring warm clothes, since the morning dew makes it much colder than by the sea. Backpackers should know the ground is rock hard, like at most campsites in Spain, so you’ll need a hammer to get your tent pegs in.
