Pierre & Vacances Roquetas de Mar

The supermarket nearby takes a bit of a walk to reach. The rooms were good and clean, and the air conditioning worked really well.

The beach is really close to the building, and we had a lot of fun at the pool. Our room was very nice and clean.

We still had a pretty good time. The place had lots of space, a well equipped kitchen, and a great pool, in a nice area. But the wifi was very slow, and we weren't given towels or bedsheets at any point during our stay. The nearby beach wasn't very good either, and there were jellyfish :(

We really enjoyed the two weeks we spent at Pierre et Vacances in Roquetas de mar. The apartment was spacious and clean, with two bathrooms, comfortable beds, good AC, and a lovely balcony view. The area was quiet and family friendly. I'd like to see one or two bars or restaurants and perhaps a small supermarket there someday. The next service center is an 8-10 minute walk away. I know it's a fairly new area, but with 3-4 fairly large hotels nearby, it seems like there's room and demand for a service area. There were some things that could be better, as other guests have said. Housekeeping didn't include cleaning, just fresh towels and bedsheets. We got those twice during our 14 day stay, which was enough for us. There was basic equipment for mopping the floor, and we used it, but a vacuum would have made things easier. The broom we had was very old and not good. I do think the staff are paying attention to guest feedback and trying to improve. At check-in, the receptionist seemed a little confused and wasn't sure which apartment to give us. You'd expect that to be sorted so you feel expected when you arrive. Because of the mix-up, he didn't explain basic things like the heating or wifi arrangements. We had to ask at reception later. It wasn't a big deal, but the staff there were surprised we hadn't been told, and they were very helpful and spoke good English. Despite that, we had a great stay, so I'm giving the residence 5 stars.
