El Paller d'Urús

We appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was, both during the day and at night. The owners were very kind, and having oil there was useful for sorting out our first lunch or dinner. The apartment was clean and quite decent overall, though it’s a two-storey place crowded with decorations, furniture, utensils, clothes, and other things belonging to the owners or their relatives. There was barely room in the wardrobe for our clothes, and I’d suggest clearing some things out to make it easier to move around. The owners live just a few metres away, directly opposite, and that affects how freely you can use the small inner courtyard. For instance, we felt we had to eat breakfast later so we wouldn’t wake them. A few things also need attention: the doors creak a lot, the TV antenna cable was faulty, and the shower wastes a lot of water before it gets hot. Recommended.

The house and its surroundings are unbeatable, and the family who welcomed us was lovely.

We had three days of relaxation and romance. It’s a welcoming place, full of thoughtful touches, and breakfast can be enjoyed upstairs by the bedrooms or downstairs in the kitchen. The fireplace and candles make it feel especially romantic.

The owners are lovely, and the location in the heart of Cerdanya is unbeatable. It’s a cozy, beautiful place where you feel right at home, and a perfect hideaway for unwinding.
