Casa Lidia - Antigua Posada Real

Lidia was attentive to everything and had lovely suggestions for places to eat, have dinner, and get tapas. She’s delightful. The village and the whole Matarraña region are charming, and we came away thrilled with wonderful memories. The house is beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail, perfectly equipped, and spotless. It stays lovely and cool in summer, even with air conditioning, and it’s only two minutes from the town center. Thank you, Lidia! ❤

We loved how peaceful Casa Lidia was. Her recommendations led us to great places to eat, riverside walks, and quieter spots away from the tourists. It was the sort of getaway that brings you back to the slower rhythm of rural life. We’d love to return. The house is in the heart of Valderrobres, so it was easy to explore the village on foot. Lidia explained how to find it clearly, and we had no trouble getting there. She was warm, generous, and always thoughtful about our comfort, making us feel like family. The house balances old-fashioned charm with modern comfort, with careful details throughout. It also welcomes pets, which was a lovely touch.

We slept wonderfully. It was so quiet that all we could hear was silence. The old inn was beautifully decorated and very clean, cozy and comfortable. Lidia and her husband gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and answered all our questions. She had also explained in detail how to get there. There were six of us in three bedrooms. The linens, towels, and beds were very good quality. There was plenty of hot water from a large water heater, individually controlled heating in each room when needed, and all sorts of kitchen utensils. They had everything we needed, including a Nespresso machine and even dishwasher tablets. A great place for discovering this beautiful part of Spain. We’re very grateful for the three fabulous days we spent there. Thank you.
