I stayed at Hotel La Roda a year and a half ago and still remember how lovely it was, right by the sea. It felt more like a cozy, intimate house than a hotel. Manolo, the owner, was so nice and friendly.

We had a great time here, especially with young kids, since the beach is right below. It's a fantastic location, away from crowds and stress, and the accommodation is simple and quiet, just right for a few days as a couple or family. One thing to check: some mattresses need replacing, and when we were there, the downstairs refrigerator wasn't cooling, though the freezer worked. We'll definitely come back.

Breakfast in the cafeteria with those views is unforgettable, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The beach is only steps away, with calm water that's great for swimming. Summer prices are usually high, but that's peak season. Some remodeling might be needed for more demanding guests, though that's secondary if you mainly want to enjoy Galician scenery and food. A real treat for anyone who loves nature and authentic Galician style.
