HQ Arena Hotel

The room was big and clean. The air-conditioning didn't work, though, and the TV was in such a strange spot that you couldn't watch it from the bed.

We found the area quiet and safe, and the room was spacious with great AC. Everything I needed was close by, with my destinations all within walking distance and a big mall nearby. The receptionists were very nice. Great hotel and staff.

We paid 178€ for two nights, room only, and for me the price didn't quite match what you get. It's outside the city center, about a 30-minute walk in, and not near the airport or much else besides the science and art park, which is close. The room was clean, bright, modern, and quiet, but it felt basic and a bit corporate, without much warmth. For high season, I still expected it to feel cosier for that price. Our deluxe double felt new and spacious, though a little bare. The firm bed was comfortable. The TV had no smart features or English-language channels, which seemed odd for the location. Reception staff were very friendly and polite, and even found us an iron. We appreciated the complimentary water, tea and coffee facilities, and fridge. It's ok.

We'd definitely come back. The service was friendly, the WiFi was fast, and the location worked well, with Quatre Carreres metro station just a five-minute walk away. Our room was cosy and really clean, and we had a lovely balcony for drinks. The shower had great pressure, too. It's a very nice, modern hotel, and it had only been open about two weeks.
