Such a peaceful spot for a break. The location was great, the rooms were clean and nice, the garden was beautiful, and the staff were kind. The food is the reason I'd give it 3/5 instead of 5/5. The selection is really small, far too limited for a 4* hotel, and the quality needs to be better. With better food, this would be a really great hotel.

The room and the hotel both felt cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable. I would've liked tea or coffee and a kettle in the room, though. Breakfast needs a lot of work. I got to the restaurant at 8 and most of the food was already gone. There was no fruit, yogurt, cereal, or pastries, possibly because a big tour group was there that morning. A staff member kindly brought me some melon when I asked, but there still wasn't much variety. The gym facilities need maintenance as well.

The hotel hall looks fancy, but I found the rest of the stay really unsatisfying. There wasn't a power outlet near the bed. The nearest one was behind the TV, about 3-4 meters from the head of the bed. There was no quilt either, just a heavy, fluffy, hard blanket stored at the top of the cabinet, with no cover. I don't know how they wash something like that, or if everyone uses the same one without it being changed and washed. There was no water boiler. At 7am the fire alarm made one huge noise and jolted us awake. It sounded like a familiar low-battery alarm, not a real emergency, but after that I couldn't get back to sleep and kept listening outside for signs that something had happened. There was nothing else unusual, just the loud alarm. Breakfast was average. The egg was dried out and overcooked, like it had sat in a hot pan for hours. The fruit seemed old. I suspect it might've been cut the day before and left in the fridge overnight, since some of the melon was turning brownish yellow and getting soft.

After a 7-hour drive, this was such a disappointment, especially for a 4-star hotel. We paid more than at other hotels with a better location because we wanted the pool, but it was closed in 35-degree heat. There was no notice of the closure on their website or booking. We picked a deluxe room for the large window and a more enjoyable stay, but the room didn't match the pictures they advertised. The parking was actually public, with no extra security for hotel guests. The room phone didn't work, and there was no information in the room about hotel services such as the restaurant. They offered no compensation for any of the missing services. We only expected what we paid for and what they advertised on their own website. We strongly advise choosing somewhere else.
