The owners of the farmhouse are very friendly, and the quiet, somewhat secluded setting felt peaceful while we were here for the Benicàssim FIB Festival. It’s a good spot to get away from the world for a few days. The rooms are nothing special, but work well for time away from the city.

We would have liked more freedom to come and go, even though we stayed just one night. Since dinner isn’t served, having a key would have made it easier to go to a nearby restaurant. The place itself is charming and peaceful, the facilities are well maintained, and the service was very friendly.

The Barranc de Minyo country house is unusual and worth a visit, tucked away in the mountains. It’s run by a charming, authentic local couple, both 85 years old. The restaurant is actually La Pelejaneta.
