The location is great, near the square, and it was quiet with no disturbances. It’s a medium-sized hotel inside a building, with a relatively small entrance that’s easy to miss. There’s no one on duty at night, so entry and exit are secured with a passcode. The reception is beautifully decorated in a boutique style. Rooms aren’t very large, but have all the necessary amenities. The price is quite reasonable too.

The room was perfect, with air conditioning even in the bathroom. The double row of double-glazed windows provided excellent soundproofing and insulation. It was 41°C outside and 30°C in the bedroom, and we slept very well. There were toiletry kits for men and women. I’m giving one star for the service to alert the hotel manager about the elevator. From my experience supervising elevators at the Atlantic Shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, during cruise ship construction, its cables need to be changed. The car moving up and down as pedestrians start and stop is characteristic of that issue.

Very good value, with comfortable, clean beds and an easy walk to Plaza .Mayor and the central sights.

The building is beautiful and in the old city centre, close to shops, bars, and other places. My room was large and had all the facilities, plus toiletries. Parking was a problem, so I had to use an underground car park, which cost 21.50€/day.

Parking was quite a way off, and getting there by car was difficult. Once inside, though, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. It's an unpretentious hostal right in the old town centre.
