Be careful with the €200 deposit. After our stay, they wanted to keep it over three dirty towels, four bits of confetti on the terrace, and a broken doorknob that was already in bad shape. The terrace is supposedly part of the cleaning service, though it seemed to belong to someone else. The house is overpriced, the prices are exorbitant, and checkout is very inflexible. Even after paying €600 a night, they wouldn’t let us stay 24 hours. They have a good business and know how to squeeze out every last penny. The service was disappointing. First and last time, not recommended at all.

We felt completely cheated and wouldn’t go back or recommend this house. It’s very isolated and far from everything, which the listing doesn’t make clear. The owner kept €200 from our deposit for a broken door panel, two towels said to be dirty, and confetti on the patio. We don’t even know whether the door panel was damaged before our stay. It felt completely disproportionate and like a rip-off. When we tried to talk it through, there was no effort to find a fair solution, just the impression that they were looking for excuses to keep our money.

The location is remote, and the staff came across as cold and unfriendly. Watch what you touch, because something may already be broken and then used to make you pay a deposit. The stairwell can be slippery on rainy days, so good balance is advisable. And if you’re in the last room on the ground floor, a helmet is MANDATORY, since the ceiling is rotten and practically falling apart.

They kept our deposit for towels we used because the house wasn’t safe on rainy days, and for confetti from a birthday party that they said they had to clean up. They were determined to hold on to it no matter what, even though the house was already in poor shape and the indoor pool couldn’t be used. One of the doorknobs broke when we opened a door because the house is in such bad condition, but they haven’t returned the deposit for that either. A terrible experience.
