La Hermossa

The couple who own this small hotel couldn’t be nicer. They’re friendly and kind, and attentive to just the right degree. It’s an authentic, peaceful place, spotlessly clean, with plain but lovely rooms. We enjoyed the walk uphill to the village, and the stroll back after dinner, but it may not suit anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely too. There aren’t many restaurants and they get popular, so I’d book ahead. We’d recommend Troie and La Posada for a perfect view and lovely views. Loved it!

The room was okay, but rain came through the ceiling in a steady stream, not just a few drops. It’s not my favourite way to wake up. There was also a heavy duty dehumidifier in the bathroom that had to be run and emptied every day. For what you get, it felt a bit overpriced, especially with breakfast not included.

The gardens and terraces were lovely places to relax, and the surroundings were great. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the people were very friendly. We can definitely recommend it as a good getaway.

The owners went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, and we had a really good breakfast every day. We booked just one night, then extended twice. The place and atmosphere were wonderful, and waking up to that stunning mountain view each morning was a treat. Wishing the lovely couple all the best 😊🌞. Booking directly through their website seems like a good idea. I’d be very happy to stay there again.
