The reception made us feel very welcome, and the service and room were excellent. There was a traditional, authentic touch in all the little details, and what we especially loved was the integrity behind everything. We loved staying here. Thank you for having us.

The friendly, cuddly cat was a delight, and the views of the church and adorable town were the cherry on top. The owners were kind and quick to respond. The rooms felt cozy, comfortable, and traditional. The location and surroundings were phenomenal, though a little tucked away.

The gardens and views were stunning, and breakfast was great too. An absolute gem. We’d definitely come back!

Communication was really difficult, and the service was terrible, or sometimes nonexistent. On arrival, nobody was there to help with our luggage or show us the way, so we had to carry it up all the stairs and find our room ourselves. It felt like a self-check-in Airbnb, with no way to reach the manager or staff until they appeared in the morning for breakfast. The food and drinks then weren’t very good either. At checkout, I asked if I could leave a little later, around 12:30 pm, and a staff member immediately said yes. But apparently she hadn’t understood, since the staff don’t speak English at all. When we checked out, they looked upset and wanted to charge a late checkout fee. I said they hadn’t been honest about the policy, and we argued without understanding what the other was saying. Eventually someone called the manager, who spoke English and explained the fees. He didn’t charge me for late checkout, but he also never sent the receipt he promised. I wouldn’t recommend staying here because of the lack of service and communication problems.
