Hotel Alma de Romero

We loved our stay. The views were amazing, the host was wonderful, and the breakfast was lovely for a small extra charge. It’s a beautiful hotel in a quiet rural area.

The owner was so friendly and offered all the services we needed. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated, and really lovely. I’d highly recommend it for a getaway.

The Africa room is ideal for switching off, with plenty of space and a jacuzzi where you can give your body a proper rest before the next day. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the staff are attentive and friendly. It’s a perfect place surrounded by nature, with plenty to enjoy. If you haven’t tried it, you should, and we’re sure we’ll return to this wonderful place and its lovely people. Such a pleasure!

We ended up cancelling and couldn’t stay, but the service we received was appalling. We booked a suite through the website at a price lower than the owner later quoted by email, even though the hotel had confirmed the booking and we’d paid a deposit. None of that was our fault. We tried emailing the owner several times and got no reply. When we finally called, his indifference and lack of effort to make us feel welcome left us feeling we had to cancel. With only four days to go, we were left without a trip. The owner handled the situation very poorly.
