MARTA L.
The setting is lovely, and the owner was kind and ready to help. But our Easter stay with 11 adults and two children had serious problems. We’d asked for a €12 extra bed for our two-year-old in a double room, but it was put in a room that didn’t have a double bed. My wife and I ended up sleeping on separate floors. There was only one towel in that room, not even one for the child. The child’s sheets had a dead spider in them, and my wife’s were torn and the wrong size. The bathroom, which had no shower, smelled terrible. When we opened the toilet, it was full of sewage. There was no safety gate on the stairs, so the place didn’t feel suitable for children. The room bathrooms are tiny and barely usable for showering, leaving just one proper bathroom for everyone. After 20 years of Easter breaks in rural guesthouses, I think this one needs a lot of work before it can offer good accommodation. We’ll come back to this area for the sightseeing and hiking, but stay somewhere else.
