Casa El Morero

The owner was helpful, and the place itself is spacious and comfortable. Getting there was a challenge, though, especially finding it in the dark on our second night. The internet was very poor, and the bed linen seemed old and worn.

A peaceful, really nice spot to relax and clear your head. Recommend!

We loved having the whole place to ourselves. Casa El Morero 2 is the upper house, run by the same owners as Casa Morero further down the mountain, but it has a very different feel. The setting is breathtaking and wonderfully quiet, far from everything. The terrace view is incredible, with a different look over the surrounding nature at every time of day. For our July 2025 stay, it cost 45 euros a night, and we felt it was great value. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the private parking space was handy given where the house is. Getting there means driving up narrow mountain roads, some quite steep, but the seclusion at the end makes the climb worthwhile. If you’re driving around the island, fill up when you can because there are very few gas stations. There’s also a small supermarket in the village square with the essentials. The owners welcomed us warmly and were helpful. A peaceful, enriching change of scenery, and we’d recommend Casa El Morero 2 to anyone looking for nature and tranquility.

The sea and mountain views are stunning, and the sunsets are sublime. It’s a magnificent, peaceful setting. The drive in is on narrow, steep roads, though you get used to them. Communication on arrival was good. The bed was just a little too soft for me.
