The cave apartments were such a cool place to come back to, and the lighting in the rooms gave them a great atmosphere. Ruben was wonderful at check-in and told us about a local festival where we had a brilliant time. It’s really handy for the municipal pool and restaurants in Valtierra, and we always found parking right outside. The place is also near several starting points for Bardenas Reales tours. Just an amazing stay and experience.

We were there as a family, two adults and two kids, and the cave was quiet inside with pleasant temperatures. The beds and rooms were really comfortable, and the place definitely has its own character. And yes, there’s WiFi 😁.

What made the stay for us was Ruben Mendi. He did everything you’d expect from a good host, then surprised us with home grown vegetables and a very nice bottle of wine. He also said we could call him anytime if we needed something or got lost in the Bardenas dessert. It was reassuring to know there was someone we could depend on, and we’ve found a new friend in Spain. The building, decor, furnishings, amenities, and all the holiday essentials were perfect too.

The kids loved this unique, cozy place, and the proprietors were super nice.
