La Alcoholera

The house had everything we needed and was in great shape, with air conditioning upstairs and downstairs. We were four couples and four little kids, aged between one and two, and had a lovely time at the pool and barbecue. Susana welcomed us with a delicious cake. Definitely a good choice for a relaxing break, highly recommend it.

The owners were really friendly and let us use their barbecue in the adjoining patio. The kids made good use of the small pool, which was much appreciated in the heat. It’s very close to Senda Viva. A lovely restored house, all wood and rustic inside.

It was easy to feel comfortable here. Susana, the manager, is lovely, and the place is pleasant, nicely decorated, and very well equipped. We enjoyed having somewhere like this to get away from the usual routine for a weekend. Highly recommended, and we hope to return soon.

La Alcoholera is a newly built home made of wood and natural stone, with space for up to eight people in four double bedrooms. Two rooms have double beds and two have single beds. There are two floors. Downstairs, one double bedroom has a TV, and there’s a bathroom with a whirlpool tub. The fully equipped kitchen and living room open onto the porch and pool. Upstairs are another double bedroom with a terrace, two more double bedrooms, and a full bathroom. The house has heating and air conditioning throughout. It also has a garden with a barbecue, pool, terrace, and vegetable patch, with the comforts needed to feel at home. Laundry service and parking are available, as is information and help booking tourist, children’s, food, and sports activities. A crib can be provided on request, subject to availability, so check with the owner.
