Palacio Gómara-Bardenas

I liked the comfortable room and the quiet, clean setting in a picture-perfect village, right at the entrance to one of the most beautiful natural parks I’ve seen in Spain. I’d have given five stars if not for two things: the bathrooms have no window or ventilation, so there’s a really unpleasant smell in the morning, and the rooms are right by the dining area, where you can hear people outside when you’re trying to sleep.

We spent a couple of weeks here as a large group and were treated wonderfully. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the common area with a kitchenette was great. It felt like home. The main street is nearby, with a pharmacy next door and several bars, yet there was no street noise.

We only stayed one night, but the welcome was wonderful and the hotel was clean, pretty, and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, with generous portions and quality food for a more than reasonable price. Shame there isn’t a sixth star, it deserves one!

The host was really friendly, and the shared bathrooms and showers were clean. It’s a small hostel with a common eating area but no kitchen. Our room was spacious enough for two and had air conditioning. The downside was hearing people in the other rooms. Good value for money.
