Apartamentos Rurales Los Vergeles

It was so peaceful there, a good spot to relax. The apartment is lovely and especially clean, and they kindly provide parking just a few meters away on the outskirts, which helps since driving through the old town to reach it is difficult. The furniture could use some improvement: the mattresses and pillows weren't comfortable, the TV was too small, and the sofa was really uncomfortable too.

Jesús made arrival easy, sending directions on WhatsApp right away and helping with our bags. The village's streets are narrow, so cars have to be left in a designated parking area. He also gave us a better apartment than the one we'd booked, at the same price, which we really appreciated. We had a lovely, quiet stay in a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The shared patio was charming, and the village itself is too. Jesús can suggest plenty of places to see. We enjoyed visiting natural swimming spots, the Monastery of Yuste, Jarandilla de la Vera, and other places. With Google Maps these days, getting around is easy! 😉

The garden was a lovely, cool place to sit, and the rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and good windows. It's a quality apartment in a very quiet village, and the owners were friendly and serious. The cleaning was generally good, though some dishes and kitchen items weren't clean. Once the other apartments filled up, we could hear the neighbors next door and upstairs, along with noise from the street.

The garden was delightful, and the whole place felt quaint and welcoming. The old architectural details have so much charm, and the renovation was done with care for the building's history and setting. We couldn't really enjoy Holy Week because it rained so much, so we'll have to come back.
