Our group of nine had a better stay than we’d expected. The house felt comfortable and welcoming, and the owners were kind and attentive. They were just as charming as the villagers.

The balcony in our room was a lovely bonus, and our dog seemed to enjoy the stay as much as we did. The house is so pretty, with details we really liked, and we felt completely at home over the weekend. The hosts were very friendly. We’d love to come back.

I already knew the village, and it’s lovely in both summer and autumn. Summer brings its pretty parasols, while autumn has such pleasant temperatures. There’s plenty of history to take in, from the little irrigation channels along the beautiful streets to the Museum of the Empalaos, the Gothic-Hispanic-Flemish style church, and the castle. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and well-maintained. We had a really enjoyable weekend, and I’ll be back for Easter and stay at El Sotanillo again.

The owners treated us wonderfully and are absolutely lovely. The place is beautiful and welcoming, right beside the square in the prettiest part of town. We’ll definitely be back! 👍 10/10

There are five double bedrooms, each with a shower, and the house is clean with what you need for a stay of a few days. The living room is a little small, though the surroundings mean you probably won’t spend much time indoors.
