Can Julià

This is a simple but wonderful hostel, great for families with children. The town is very quiet. The housekeeper is attentive, polite, and helpful, and the owner has been courteous and attentive the few times we've spoken by phone. The hostel is always clean, and you can use the kitchen. I recommend it 100%.

The staff are very friendly, and the location is good. The breakfasts weren't great, with too much pastry and everything processed. The towels need replacing because they don't dry you and look dirty. The bathroom we used would also be much better with a new shower screen.

The price is a plus, and the place is clean enough. If you know what you're booking, it's fine, but the experience packages make it sound like something else. The rooms don't have bathrooms, which are outside the room, and the beds are small. Rooms facing the road are noisy, with little soundproofing. Some packages include breakfast, but what they offer hardly counts: butter and jam, juice, and packaged pastries that you serve yourself from the fridge.

A peaceful place to unwind, and perfectly located for mountain trips, visits to the charming local villages, and the beach just a stone's throw away. The service was excellent, and everything was fantastically clean and well maintained.
