Javier was excellent from the start. He explained how everything worked and suggested places to eat and visit. The house felt welcoming and was very well equipped. Its village is peaceful and has plenty to see, and Javier invited us to visit the farm school right next door. Ávila's center is only 20 minutes away, which makes the location especially good. I'd definitely recommend it! 🥰

The host is a wonderful person who clearly loves what he does. He's great with children, and they end up adoring him. Around town he's put up several "creative sculptures," and he's a great historian. It's a pleasure listening to him. The town was almost deserted while we were there, and that's part of what made it special. It's very small, so you have to shop in a nearby town if you need anything. The house itself is charming, clean, well kept, and equipped with everything you need. There's also a pretty little patio with a barbecue and a frog game. A lovely choice for a few days with children and friends. We'll be back!

I had a terrible experience. I booked through Wonderbox and paid €40 extra for another night, just as the Wonderbox website said. When I explained that to him, he said the extra night cost €40. I told him I'd already paid Wonderbox. Later he said he wasn't interested and sent me this, copied and pasted: "I'm asking you for €40 + €60 left, or else you don't have a reservation." This was only part of the conversation. He said this the night before, at 10 p.m., knowing I was traveling with a five-month-old baby. He threatened to leave us on the street unless we gave him another €100, on top of the €80 we'd already paid. I don't recommend him. Javier's treatment was disgraceful and rude. He even boasts about running a business, and I wonder, what business do you have? None... I'm about to file a complaint with the consumer protection agency. Wonderbox refunded me the money and the voucher, and they were splendid. The damage this caused my baby was awful. If you don't want Wonderbox bookings, remove the offers. Otherwise, you'll have to accept the consequences of the prices offered on that page.
