We’re four Canadians, and after finding our Airbnb booking cold and damp in early September, we were miserable. Someone recommended Casa Rural El Recanto, and we loved it so much that we booked there straight away and gave up the other place. We got our money back, too. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean, and Blanca made us feel completely at home. Her bakery across the road was delicious. The washing machines are great, and the clothes come out almost dry, with lines there to finish drying them. I highly recommend staying here on your journey. Hi Blanca, from Jane, Sue, Niq and Tides.

After several really hot days of walking, this was such a welcome place to land. The hosts were wonderfully hospitable, and everything felt immaculate and cozy. Perfecto!

The cafe food was lovely, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. You check in at the bakery and cafe across the road. The room was a good size, in a small house with a shared space downstairs.

The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and there’s laundry on site. The hostess was really friendly and helpful. She also runs the lovely bakery across the street. I’d stay here again if I got the chance.

Our group of six had almost the whole place to ourselves, which was great. Casa Rural el Recanto is in a tiny, quaint town, and there’s a bakery across the street with cows out in the fields. The house has a kitchen, living room, dining area, and beautifully decorated bedrooms. One of my favorite places to stay on the Camino de Santiago. I highly recommend it for a night or two along the route.
