Staff were super friendly, and I’d stay here again, though I’d ask for an end room on the top floor. There was a lot of noise from other rooms. The property is lovely, the rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfy, and the tub was nice. You can see cows right outside the windows. Food and drink options are about a 10 minute walk away. I’m vegan, and there weren’t any proper vegan choices or plant milk for morning coffee.

We had a really good dinner, and check-in was easy. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The patio has a lovely view and was a fun place to talk with other peregrinos. One of my best stays on the Camino so far.

The room had a bed bug infestation, and two days later we were still scratching ourselves raw. The owner tried to get us to leave a positive review in return for a refund instead of taking responsibility. That says enough about the management. The photos may look idyllic and the positive reviews may sound reassuring, but our stay felt like hell. No traveler should have to go through this. Avoid it.

The breakfast was delicious. I only wish I knew how to make scrambled eggs that good. The balcony and terrace look out over cows grazing beside a lovely stream, with mountains in the distance. The room was cozy, and its little tub was deep enough for a good soak after a long hike. The building is 200 years old and has been completely refurbished, though it still feels like another era. David was exceptionally friendly and helpful. So far, my favorite hotel on the Camino.

Set up on a hill away from town, it looks over a lovely pasture full of animals and a garden. The owner was friendly and engaging, and both the food and service were excellent.
