Apartamentos Casamonteymar

The four days we stayed there were a complete disappointment. Paco may be a friendly, nice person, but the apartment has a lot of problems. The street has stairs all along it, and there was no warning about that. The apartment is halfway up, and once you open the door there are even more stairs. They’re narrow, spiral and hard to manage. We had a stroller and a small child, so getting in and out was quite a spectacle. There was a washing machine, so we assumed it could be used. I put in a couple of the baby’s soiled things, and when we came back the place was flooded. The machine was broken and water had spilled everywhere, soaking a lot of our things, including shoes and a suitcase. The shower is literally about half a square metre, so you can barely turn around. Bathing a small child was a real challenge. And if someone showers before you, don’t expect hot water again for a few hours. The sofa bed was awful, honestly. A bed made of bricks would be more comfortable. There were other issues too: dirty drawers with crumbs in them, dirty glasses, and so on. I’d never stay here again.

The apartments are clean, fully equipped, and right in the city centre, with parking just outside. Paco looks after you and makes you feel at home without being overbearing. He’s the perfect host, and then some. Five stars, well deserved 😉 Thanks, Paco, you’re great! 😊

They say pets are allowed, but apparently acceptance depends on the animal’s size. The owner should make that clear in the listing. We didn’t run into any problems when we tried to cancel.

We had a perfect stay. The apartments are right in the centre, and they’re new, comfortable and very clean. The owner was excellent. We’ll be back!
