Casa Shelly Hospedería

Chris made us feel very welcome and answered our questions quickly. His directions to the check-in point were especially helpful with the narrow one-way streets. The house has been renovated with real care, keeping the original features of the building and area while adding comfort and style. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Guests can use a full kitchen stocked with fruit, muffins, coffee, and tea, which was a nice surprise. Everything in the village is within walking distance, and parking is available if you want to explore elsewhere for the day. We had a relaxing stay and would come back if we’re in the area.

There’s no breakfast on site, but Chris or Javier show you a city map at check-in with nearby places to get one. There’s a little kitchen with snacks, muffins, coffee, and tea, and a lovely back courtyard where you can sit quietly with a book or a drink. The house is gorgeous and peaceful, with restaurants and tourist attractions close by. Such a charming place, and the attention to detail really stands out.

Casa Shelly was one of our best stays in Andalusia. We have two children and love kids, but it was so relaxing to have a quiet place for adults. The interior design is stunning, and the hospitality was wonderful from the warm welcome to all the information and correspondence before we arrived. I’d recommend it if you’re after a retreat.

I felt completely at home, surrounded by peace and harmony. The place combines sophistication, privacy, and tranquility, with a very high standard of hygiene, which always matters a lot. Vejer and Cadiz are powerful locations too. The French word “Trouvaille” describes it well, a lucky and happy discovery. It’s a magnificent experience in every sense, and a rare level of customer care these days. I’ll definitely come back with my family. Thank you, Christian & team.
