The apartment is only about 100m from the beach, and there are plenty of places to walk a dog in the nearby dunes and wasteland. We stayed out of season, so the closest bars and restaurants were shut, though some farther up were open along with several grocery stores. There was what we needed to make a simple meal, and the shower and sink water got very hot.
We keep coming back to this amazing location, especially in spring.
The location was good for our family summer stay, but the houses are very run down. There’s hardly any kitchenware, and what’s there is poor quality. The sheets are old, and no towels are provided. With a bit more care, this could be a perfect place.
We felt very comfortable staying here with family and friends, and I’d happily come back. When our toaster broke, they replaced it straight away. José and Mari Carmen are lovely and always willing to help with whatever you need.
Paco and Mari were friendly and easy to reach, and there was plenty of room for our car, with two or three parking spots. The house had all the basics, including an Italian coffee maker, toaster, and hairdryer. Eight friends had a wonderful weekend here. The beach is a four-minute walk, and it’s 10 minutes to the best restaurant in all of El Palmar. We didn’t need the pool and didn’t even see it. There are also tennis courts and a ping-pong table. We would have liked an extra toilet roll and some trash bags. We bought them, but left them behind since we barely used any over the weekend. Great stay.
