The à la carte breakfast at Jardín del Califa restaurant was incredible. The hotel itself is unusual and beautiful, and everything is well looked after. Our room was roomy and comfortable.

Breakfast was really good, and the garden where they served it was lovely. But the service there let us down quite a bit. We waited ages for someone to take our order and then for the food to arrive, even though there seemed to be more waiters than occupied tables. Hearing staff loudly criticize coworkers and talk about how chaotic the previous night's service had been also felt unprofessional, like we were in a roadside diner. The hotel itself is beautiful, with the theme carried through the shared spaces and our room. The pool is peaceful and lovely, and everything was very clean.

We had the green room, which is a great fit for couples, and you can get to the pool quickly. It's small, but very nice. Everything was impeccably clean, and the service was excellent, with everyone friendly and helpful. The Andalusian style is done so well that it feels like being in another world.
