Playavera Hotel - Naturist Friendly

The pool is lovely and kept clean, and the daytime team games are great fun. The entertainment staff bring loads of enthusiasm, with Diego especially brilliant. Food is average, though there are good meals to be found at nearby restaurants. The only real downside for me was the terrible smell in the ladies’ toilets by reception. Still, it’s the best place for a naturist holiday.

I’m still here, so maybe I should wait until the end to review it, but I’ve really enjoyed the unusual experience at The Hotel Club Playa Vera. You can spend almost the whole time naked, even getting to the beach without having to dress. The location is amazing, right by the sea, and there’s a huge, refreshing pool, a restaurant and plenty more. It does look a little dated, if I’m being picky, but that wouldn’t stop me returning. I’ve loved the staff, the food and my sea view. Very cool 😎

Our ground-floor studio was spacious, had lovely views and opened straight onto the beach. The staff were great, and the pool area has a jacuzzi, a large chessboard, crazy golf and entertainment through the day. Nudity is required at the pool but optional elsewhere in the hotel. It’s child-friendly, with slides in the pool, although we didn’t see many children during our visit. We’ll definitely come back.

For a hotel calling itself four stars, the hygiene and comfort really let it down. My room was dirty, especially the bath, and orange water came out when I turned on the tap. It made me feel sick, and I didn’t want to use it. Maybe the rooms had been unused over winter, but cleanliness should still be a priority. The twin beds were cheap and uncomfortable, and kept sliding apart. The hotel itself is large, with an impressive lobby and pools, but the service didn’t live up to the view from outside. Breakfast was poor too, with too few options for a balanced start to the day. I was there for a business trip and only needed somewhere to sleep and have breakfast. I’m not part of the naturist world, but that wasn’t a problem for me. Based on this stay, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting a four-star experience.
