Finca Arboleda

We’ve stayed here three times now, and it’s starting to feel like home. The garden, full of orange and olive trees, is a lovely oasis in the desert, and we like how peaceful the setting is away from the busy tourist areas. The hosting couple are warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which is a big part of what keeps bringing us back. We’ve tried both places to stay on the property. The smaller Orange Grove is nearer the hosts’ house, so we’ve had the chance to chat with them now and then. The Old Stable gives you a little more room and comfort. For activities, we came mainly for Lunar Wakeboard Cable Park, about 15 km away, and the Mediterranean is also close enough for beach days and other outings. This has become a special place for us, and we’re looking forward to returning soon.

The evenings were a highlight: I cooked in the spacious kitchen using the house's own olive oil, and took a bottle home so I can enjoy a little Finca Arboleda there too. I spent six lovely days at Finca Arboleda in March, studying for my exam in the morning sun before driving about 15 minutes to Wake Park Lunar in the afternoons. Michael, the owner, was always nice to chat with over coffee. I hope I can come back next spring.

Mick and perco, thanks for such a brilliant stay in your cottage. The location was perfect and the quiet was real, apart from the rooks singing in the morning. Everything else was great. My one disappointment was not being able to swim, though in the last week of November that wasn't surprising. Cheers.

We had an amazing week here and would happily return. The villa was spotless, well equipped, and had a comfortable bed, set in beautiful countryside just a few minutes' drive from Vera Town, one of my favourite towns. The hosts made us feel very welcome. They're a wonderful couple. Highly recommend.
