Jardines de Viana Spa has lovely gardens and good views, plus warm water, Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. It had what I needed to relax my tired body. Julian, the owner, was kind and warm, and he looks after pilgrims especially well because he’s walked the Santiago three times. I strongly recommend the place to everyone. Buen Camino!

The house is roomy, though it doesn’t feel fully finished, and the sheets hadn’t been changed until we asked. It’s about a kilometer from the center of Viana, which is to be expected for a pilgrim, but the location listing is misleading: this isn’t a rural house, it’s in the middle of a housing development. For 85 euros, the amenities and location feel excessive for the price, and the owner only appeared to collect the money. The garden is really a courtyard with artificial grass and a few plants, despite the name Jardines de Viana!!!!!

A restful stop on the Camino de Santiago. Our room was clean and spacious, and there were plenty of useful things, including a washer and dryer. Breakfast was provided, along with a generous mixed salad that served as our evening meal.

The nearby green spaces and sports facilities were a nice bonus, and the children, 7 and 2, had a fantastic time in the pool. We spent a wonderful week in a house that had everything we needed. Thanks, Julián, for being kind and available, and for the welcome gift. We’ll be back soon.

Julian was incredibly welcoming and even suggested a visit to a wonderful winery. We came to Viana for a course and were so glad we found this spacious, welcoming house. Its location worked perfectly, close to amenities and places of interest in nearby towns and cities. We even made it to San Sebastian one afternoon. We’ll definitely return!
