Estival Park Marena

Our family of seven, four adults and three kids, had one of our best holidays at Estival Park Marena. The hotel was clean and nicely presented, and there was always something for everyone to eat. Staff were friendly and helpful where they could be. The entertainment really makes a family holiday for me, and the entertainers were all mint. Maria and Gabriel from the Tui entertainment team made an extra effort with our family and others during the games and around the hotel. We enjoyed the stay so much that we've already booked again for next year. We hope to see them there again, as they definitely made the holiday that bit better. From Big Al 👊🏻

Our duplex room was lovely, and the upstairs room was absolutely huge. We've been here a few days into our week, and the hotel is generally clean. The staff are friendly too. But we keep finding cigarette butts on the balcony even though we don't smoke. I can only assume people are throwing them down from higher balconies. The hotel is nice and in a good location for families, but the food isn't great. I wouldn't come back.

We had a week here, and the food changed daily, so there was always something new to try. The waiters were super friendly and welcoming, and made us feel more like friends than customers. The pool is always cool, and the beach is only a three minute walk if you want to get away from the hustle. The entertainment team is where the hotel really shines. We got to know Gabri and Maria, and they were absolutely brilliant with the children and the guests. They're wonderful people who made the place special. It's a real shame we couldn't stay longer and get to know them more.

The room looked lovely, with modern decor and touches of traditional Spanish style. There was a free safe and fridge, and you could sync your phone to the TV. But the daily room service, which skipped Sundays, mostly seemed to mean making the bed and maybe changing the bin. I don’t think the sheets were changed all week, and the bathroom didn’t seem to get attention. We also found the all-inclusive food selection decent, with self-service drinks, bar service, snacks through the day, and a different cuisine theme each evening. The restaurant got crowded, but there was always something to eat. The outdoor entertainment staff were a bright spot, making an effort to include everyone and keeping their spirits up. The bar staff were polite once I spoke Spanish. The rest of the staff didn’t make us feel welcome, and I can’t remember a restaurant or reception worker smiling at me all week. The pool area was overwhelming, with loud music and constant activities, and the pool felt much too small for the hotel. I’d read that it was quiet, but that wasn’t our experience. Our room wasn’t a refuge either, since the walls were thin and our neighbours were noisy. My partner and I wanted a relaxing break and came away more tired than when we arrived. This place seems much better suited to families with young children who want activities all day. The area around the hotel is lovely to explore, but I don’t think we’ll return.
