It’s often quite windy here, but the water is nice and shallow. You have to go quite far out, and on a calm day you can spot fish. There’s a lot of construction work on the beach, apparently for the foreseeable future.

The water was so clear that I could see lots of fish. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby too.

The playground was a particular hit, and my husband enjoyed the free exercise equipment. It’s a fabulous, long stretch of sandy beach, very clean and safe. I’d definitely recommend it to family and friends.

There are some good restaurants nearby, and the beach itself has lots of space even when it’s busy. The water stays shallow quite far out, which makes it great for little kids. The sand isn’t golden, and the view to the left is of an industrial area, which isn’t very appealing. Still, it’s a great beach for kids and deserves four stars.

I love coming here because it’s quieter than the surrounding area. The beach is long, with both deep and shallow sections so you can pick what suits you. The water and sand are clean, there isn’t much algae, and the waves usually aren’t strong.
