ibis Barcelona Aeropuerto Viladecans

There’s no wardrobe or even a hanger for storage, and the toilet doesn’t have a brush. The room is so cramped that even one person would feel stuck in a rabbit hutch. Awful hotel, just pure horror. If companies like Ibis weren’t around, employers would have to put their staff in hotels meant for people instead of these inhumane conditions.

The breakfast was delicious, and being able to have it from 4:30 in the morning until noon was a real plus. Check-out was also at 12:00, so we didn’t have to rush. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and spoke English and German. We were very happy with our stay, especially with the hotel so close to the airport for our late-night arrival. Thank you!

The breakfast is worth taking your time over before heading to the airport. There’s plenty of fresh food, great coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, good cheese and charcuterie, and even a panini maker. The nostalgic cocoa powder box is a lovely touch. Tables, chairs, plates, cups, floors, and walls all have artistic detail, and 90s music plays in the morning. The breakfast team greet you warmly even during the very early hours, when they must have had little sleep. The whole place is spotless, and the staff are lovely. I even wondered if they were family, which might explain the care they put into the place. The building sits back from the street, where traffic is limited, so it’s quiet. McDonald, a superstore, and a 24/7 grocery store are within walking distance. It may be billed as a modest airport layover hotel, but it offers much more. The room isn’t especially spacious, but it’s quite sufficient, very clean, and has what you need if you’re not spending all your time there. The lobby is wonderful, and there’s even a sidewalk restaurant. The decoration throughout is beautiful, modern, creative, and artistic, with a subtle traditional touch that brings together the cultures of the North and South. Spanish class. This stay changed how I think about Ibis, even if this place may be exceptional. A big bravo, and thank you.

Clean, new, and a good option for a transit stay since it’s not far from the aeroport. The room was quite good and had a hot shower. It’s a budget hotel.
