El Jardin Vertical

We felt at home thanks to the staff, who were so friendly and helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel is in a beautiful town with amazing views, and the hospitality was top-notch. A great choice for a peaceful getaway with fantastic service.

The quality and service didn't justify the very high price.

The room was cozy and comfortable, with lovely views and a wood-burning stove that made the stay feel special. We spent two midweek nights here, my partner, daughter and I, and the friendly hospitality made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The hotel is charming and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere from its renovation using natural materials. We'd definitely return.

The breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean, and the woman handling breakfast and cleaning was consistently kind and pleasant. Even so, our stay at El Jardín Vertical in the duplex room had quite a few problems. We paid €30 when booking to bring our two dogs, but on arrival were told the charge was €15 per dog per night, so we had to pay another €30. The narrow steps on the spiral staircase were too small for the dogs to climb by themselves. That's worth knowing, since the duplex is the only room that accepts pets. We also couldn't take breakfast to the terrace or our room, so we had to eat separately to avoid leaving the dogs alone. There was no mobile signal in the room, and the Wi-Fi didn't reach it. The listing promised a Smart TV, but it was a regular one, and the antenna signal was sometimes weak, so the picture quality suffered. The shower drained poorly, and the water reached our ankles after a short while. The downstairs living area also lacked privacy, since people walking by could see straight through its glass door. We think the place has potential, but several things need attention for the stay to match the description.
