We enjoyed the food throughout our three-day stay: breakfast had fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, Spanish meats and cheeses, plus eggs made to order. Lunch was lighter, with sandwiches, salads, and fresh fruit, and dinner was delicious Spanish cuisine. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and modern. Hotel Sa Franquesa Nova sits on a wine estate with broad countryside views, a large pool and lots of loungers. The sunsets over the vineyards were beautiful. It was quiet and relaxing at some times, but about 75% of the guests were families with children, so it could get lively and noisy. The confirmation email did mention children might be there. We recommend the hotel if total quiet isn't a priority.

We loved the peaceful setting, the rooms, and the chickens roaming freely, plus the two zebras 🩷 Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. The wasps around the pool were the one downside; it felt rather dangerous walking or going into the pool area, and they should really try to reduce them.

The hotel is tucked away, which keeps things very quiet but means more driving to reach places around the island. We loved the gorgeous sunset by the pool, the dinner was great, and breakfast was good, though service was a little uneven at times. The decor is beautiful and tasteful, and our room was spacious with a lovely balcony. A few lights flickered or didn't work properly, but overall we had a great stay.

The restaurant felt stuck in the last century, and the hotel's four-star rating seems like it belongs to another era. Even our renovated room had a damp smell. It's outdated and poorly managed. Don't waste your time or money.

Coming back in the evening to the pool and its lovely view over a green oasis felt like a real treat. This friendly, beautiful boutique hotel is also a handy base for exploring Mallorca by car.
