Hotel Vilagarcia

The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to go. Wi-Fi was great, and the twin room had plenty of space and modern equipment. But our room smelled strongly of sewage when we arrived, as if it had been unused for a while, and the smell never fully went away. The hotel is a nice little place near the center and close to bars. That also means weekend party noise can come straight through the walls. In our room it was unbearable at night, and we could hear the music in the hallway too. We asked to move, but the place was full. Breakfast was fine for 5 euros, though very basic. The eggs were really hard boiled, someone needs to learn how to cook eggs properly 😅

The room was clean and nights were quiet. We stayed for two weeks last August and got really good value for what we paid. Breakfast was good quality, though I would have liked more variety.

The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly. It’s a clean hotel that’s been recently refurbished.

The staff were excellent, and our room was very clean.
