I tried to use my VivaBox voucher for one night for two, breakfast included. The woman told me they wouldn't take a one-night booking, said I had to pay another €110 for a second night, and urged me to decide quickly because she was extremely busy. I checked Booking.com after hanging up. It let me book the single night I wanted, the place wasn't as full as she'd made out, and the rate was actually €105 per night, less than the extra charge she'd quoted. I called back a minute later and told her what I'd found. She said to forget booking there because she didn't like how I was speaking to her, then hung up. I was left speechless by her calling me a “SCAMMER.” I felt they hadn't told me the truth, and that the supposed required second night cost more than the rate on the first site I checked. Instead of apologizing or trying to sort things out, she was rude and had more to say. Liars, scammers and rude, that's how I felt about the whole exchange.
