Marea Aparthotel

We booked at the last minute and arrived late in the evening, but they were flexible about our arrival time. The town is lovely to visit, and the location is great.

The balcony was a lovely place to watch people go by, with a pleasant ocean view through the trees. Inside, the room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the big windows let in lots of light. The location is great too. Breakfast downstairs was fine, though perhaps a bit pricey, so a short walk into the main town is another option.

The daily room cleaning, fresh towels, friendly staff, and quiet, clean, well-adjusted air conditioning all made my stay at Aparthotel Marea comfortable. The beds were good too. I picked it for the location and value, and the location really delivered: right by the beach of Vilanova i la Geltru, across from the promenade restaurants, and just a short distance from the Rambla. The room looked a little smaller in person than I expected from the photos, and our balcony was tiny with no view. You can pay more for a view, which makes sense, and I'll do that next time. My one suggestion would be to add a paid washing machine for guests to use. I'd definitely come back.

We stayed as a family of five, including three older teens, and all enjoyed it. The room felt smaller than we'd hoped, though that may be typical for travel in Europe. The location right by the beach is excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a really good coffee shop, bakery, and sandwich place downstairs.
