The hotel is in a great spot, close to the city centre and hiking activities. You can even swim in a lake near the city. The rooms are lovely, with lots of space, big beds that are comfy and soft, and a nice shower with products provided. Such an adorable place.

Villablino is a beautiful town, with plenty of routes and iconic places to see. We stayed several days at the hostel with breakfast included. It’s quiet, comfortable, and very well located, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. A few small things were imperfect, like a loose towel rack and a toilet seat that wasn’t fitted properly, but the owners’ excellent service made those easy to overlook. They were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was very complete, and the stay was very reasonably priced.

At €55 a night, you do get a good buffet breakfast, but you have to go to a hotel 200 meters away. The noise carries both from outside and between rooms, and there’s a strong smell from the toilets. You can smell the next room.

The breakfast at Hotel La Brañina was generous and had plenty to choose from, and the staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, checking that we had everything we needed. Our room was spacious and kept in great condition. It was peaceful and comfortable for a relaxing stay, with excellent service and very good value.
