They were very helpful about where to find a bar and a restaurant. The room was lovely, clean, and perfectly serviceable, though not very big. I was glad it had air conditioning.

The Brazilian husband and wife running the place were very friendly. It has a hostel sort of setup, with double rooms and private bathrooms, but it often felt like hard work to get anything. There was no dinner option, so we had to eat elsewhere. There's no proper bar either. We had to ask for specific drinks to be brought to the shared kitchen and lounge. Breakfast was less extensive than at other places we'd stayed along the way.

Right by the bridge on the way out of Villafranca del Bierzo, this was a lovely, relaxing stop on the Camino Frances. The rooms were modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was great, and so was the service.

The bath and the friendly, helpful staff made up for the shortcomings. The location is great, and the rooms are fantastic, with a bath and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was limited to toast, fruit, and cereal for €10. Outside, passing cars sounded like flatbed trucks, and there was a steady booming noise, as if someone a few doors away were practicing electric bass.
