We arrived in January, and the place was excellent value for the price. The rooms were spotless, with a good bathroom, wifi and a big, comfortable bed where we could enjoy the sea view. The pool was a welcome extra, and breakfast was good value too. The beach is a three-minute walk, and the town center takes about five or six minutes to reach. Elena looked after us and deserves a special mention. She was kind, cheerful, helpful and efficient. The place is dog friendly as well, and our dog loved walks along the beach and coast. I recommend it.

The pool is a nice spot to relax, and the breakfast has plenty to choose from. The hot dishes, though, were only lukewarm, and there was often a long wait for the single coffee machine. Some cushions on the loungers would help too. Those things kept this from being a five-star stay for me. The rooms felt fresh, spacious, and well looked after, with lots of outlets and reliable WiFi. I liked that the power stayed on without needing to insert a card, so devices could charge while we were out. The air conditioning worked well, and even without a balcony, the large windows looked out over the bay. It’s not far from the beach or old town, and the staff were kind and helpful. I’d stay again. It has to be one of the best hotels in Vila Joyosa.

The reception staff were really helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We stayed four nights and loved it, especially the breathtaking view from our window. There wasn’t any cleaning service during our stay.

The booking site now marks the stay as complete, but the change we agreed on still hasn’t been made. Because of unforeseen circumstances, our guest couldn’t stay, and hotel management agreed to move the booking to other dates. We confirmed that over WhatsApp and by phone. Since then, they’ve ignored our repeated attempts to reach them, and nothing has been amended.

The apartment was great, and the location was fabulous. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were very friendly. We could also use the hotel’s indoor pool and gym. Breakfast was available, though the one morning we booked it, it was just okay and very basic. We paid an extra fee to bring our dog. We’ll definitely visit again.
